During this current pandemic, we are reminded by empty store shelves of the importance of the men and women who produce, deliver, stock, and sell the food and other goods we need to survive and live. These folks still go to work despite the pandemic, putting themselves and their families at risk. Without them, the rest of us cannot survive for very long. So, if you interact with any of these folks in the coming weeks, please don't shake their hands. Instead, be polite, be nice, and thank them for everything they do.
