2-5-2020 - The official death toll from the Wuhan Coronavirus has risen to 494, with over 24,500 officially confirmed cases. It is likely that both numbers are actually much higher, as most experts agree China is severely under-reporting the true extent of the outbreak. Testimony of medical personnel in China, as well as photos and videos, continue out and confirm a much worse situation than the Chinese government is admitting.
The situation in the United States remains the same, with 11 confirmed cases. Tests results are still pending on several dozen additional patients.
FOX Business channel is reporting the possibility of serious shortages of not just medical face masks, but many other medical and first aid supplies. This is due not only to increased buying from the general public due to the outbreak, but also because many medical supplies are manufactored in China, often in the regions currently locked down due to the virus. This means it is becoming increasing difficult for Amazon and other retailers to restock items once they sell out. (Click here for the Medical and First Aid supplies page on Amazon.)
