Coronavirus Updates - 24-day incubation period, deaths top 1,000, new US case

By Timothy Gamble

2-11-2020 - Medical researchers in China announced an incubation period of up to 24 days for the Wuhan Coronavirus, meaning that it could take someone that long from exposure to the virus until showing symptoms. This is ten days longer than was previously reported. Also, the researchers found that the virus can survive up to 9 days on tainted surfaces, four days longer than previously thought.

The official death toll from the Wuhan Coronavirus has risen to 1,018, all but two in mainland China, with over 43,000 officially confirmed cases. However, official numbers are useless, as China is severely under-reporting the true extent of the outbreak, according to most experts. Reports, photos, and videos leaking out of China paint a much worse picture.

In the latest video to surface, a funeral home director in Wuhan claims that the actual death toll is four to five times greater than the official numbers being released by Chinese officials. This is consistent with previous claims from medical personnel in China that suggest the actual number of coronavirus cases is about 200,000, with actual deaths nearing 5,000.

A new California case, number 13 in the United States, is the first of the American evacuees from China to test positive for the Wuhan coronavirus. He was accidentally released from the hospital before being returned to quarantine.

Speculation that the Wuhan coronavirus is actually an escapee from a Chinese biowarfare lab continues to mount, and is now showing up in mainstream media reports. Dr. Francis Boyle, an expert on biologicial warfare who helped write the US Biological Weapons Act, is the latest to state that the Wuhan coronavirus is a biological weapon. "The coronavirus that we’re dealing with here is an offensive biological warfare weapon," according to Boyle, who points out that the Wuhan’s Institute of Virology is known to Western intelligence services as a bioweapons lab, with previous containment problems with other viruses.
