Yemen - On Saturday, January 18, Shiite radicals launched a missile attack against a Sunni mosque in Marib, Yemen. Reports state that 116 people were killed and at least 120 were injured.
This attack is part of the ongoing civil war in Yemen between Shai Muslim and Sunni Muslim groups. The civil war is considered by many to be a proxy war between Iran and Saudi Arabia. Iran, overwhelming Shiite, is training, arming, and supporting the Shai side, while Saudi Arabia, overwhelmingly Sunni, is doing the same for the Sunni side, including providing air support.
