Fifth Circuit Court Rules: The Wall is Back On!

1-9-2020 -  The Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals yesterday reversed a lower court ruling from December that temporarily blocked $4 billion in border wall funding. The Trump administration plans to use discretionary funds in the military budget to build eleven barriers along the southern border. A Texas-based activist group is suing the administration over that border wall funding. The Appeals Court ruling allows those funds to be spent while the original case proceeds through the appeals process.

In a tweet this morning, President Trump hailed the ruling. "The Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals just reversed a lower court decision & gave us the go ahead to build one of the largest sections of the desperately needed Southern Border Wall, Four Billion Dollars. Entire Wall is under construction or getting ready to start!"
